"I was visiting my fiancés family in Greenville and heard this place had recently opened up in Mauldin. I had a lot of expectations for this place since my family is from Pereira and my grandma owned a bakery and now I live in Jersey. This place was so good. The workers were so nice and the atmosphere was very welcoming. The pandebonos were so good - cheesy and not sweet, the way I prefer them. We snacked on some chicharron. It had no bad flavor to it. It felt like they properly cleaned and cooked it. The morcilla also had good flavor and wasn’t too greasy. Sometimes some places will give you more potato than meat in their empanadas, and this place gave a lot of meat inside theirs. And I loved their tamales. They were filling, good flavor, and packed with meat. Also loved the prepackaged items they can sell, including bags of frozen arepas for you to bring home. I will certainly be coming back every time I’m down in South Carolina. It honestly felt like I was back in Pereira eating."
